Ok, I'm running BOINC as a service. This means no pretty screensaver stuff.
So why does WGC download a bunch of png's and gifs? And then leave them lying around on my HDD when they will never be used? Just curious as it seems a bit silly. :-) |

you can still view the graphics in the Boinc Manager. thats why

There's a mini-pic on the simplified boinc manager, but that's all I can see. |

if you are looking at the simple window, click the changing picture. if you are in the advanced window, click the task under the tasks tab then click show graphics

I can't see a "show graphics" option or anything akin to in the Advanced view - either on Tasks OR projects. :?
Nor on the Simplified view. But then I did delete those pics already, so maybe that is why. :) |
