I've noticed the install directory of the WCG on my PC includes many files with names starting with UD_ with numeric tails and extensions EXE, DLL, BMP. The files mostly have dates from 2005 and 2006. There are also two UD_ folders (one with today date, another is six months old).
I suspect the completed WCG tasks left those files on my PC. Please advise, which files I may remove safely. TIA |

The subdirs inside the wcg directory like UD_8401401_0.dir are created with each new job and the date should be current if u run UD(WCG) agent currently. Any other subs u see with old dates are legacy and can be deleted without concern. Should a new project come along u will see another number. The number above refers to the latest FightAIDS@Home version.
----------------------------------------I'd not delete anything in the program dir itself. Some of them can be deleted like the BMP files. A new job would simply pull new copies from the server. U could always uninstall, delete the whole structure, reinstall and re-register as existing member. It would create a new device in your stats, but all old scores would just add to the new one and show in the newly installed agent. cheers
