I recently updated a bunch of drivers, bios, etc levels on my laptop and since then I have noticed that World Grid sometimes gets in the way. If I pause it, the action I am waiting for happens immediately.
Has anyone else seen this? Am I just using a really old version of World Grid? |

The upgrades possibly lost your CPU usage limiter setting for the UD agent
----------------------------------------Can you check the UD Agent Graphics screen and see what the Throttle % is somewhere towards the bottom. If u dont see it - the AIDS graphics don't have that value indicator - open up Taskmanager and look @ what % CPU time the WCGxxxxxxxx.exe process indicates. If 100% and running the heavy duty Help Defeat Cancer, it is possible u incur some reduction in user responsiveness for foreground applications.

Still running at 60%. (30% on Duo Core).
Things that get delayed until Grid is snoozed: Opening of a document attachment in notes. Opening a new instance of IE, but not all the time. Suspending the laptop. |
