How about finding new ways to combat sexually transmitted diseases like genital herpes?

hopefully one virus success will give clues on treating other viruses and also give these projects more visibility.
i guess at the moment most people think aids is more important. by the way, i'm pretty sure that herpes on people's faces is just as aggravating as herpes on their genitals. who wants to kiss someone with big oozing blisters on their mouth?   |
