It's perhaps a good idea to delete from database all empty teams that have never received a result, no ? :)

AN EXCELLENT IDEA!!
I would like proper notice given before flushing accounts, like: 30 days of no activity, no points; plus sending e-notice to advise them of the cutoff date. Some might reply back that they are done with the GRID....(delete) There are occational times when human or mechanical issues puts us out of the loup. The revocation of a "well intended" member with a serious computer issue, not enough cash (like after Christmas), or medical problem(s) in their family can close one's shop down. These last issues are sensitive and Real Life! The revocation policy, if developed should have adequate notice, member review and time to buy-in to the plan. Cleaning our office and Christmas list is a dirty but necessary job. |

I agree!
Start by disbanding empty teams anyways and disbanding a 'team' thats left empty. It would also be nice to have 'inactive' members moved to an 'inactive' database where they can pickup their account when they resume crunching. Crunch for Canada! Join Canada! Visit the Canada Web Site! |

Why would it be important to delete empty teams? I guess I don't see where it's an issue.
I think inactive members and members with no results returned should be left. The number of people who sign up but never return a result could be a useful statistic. Also, if there are 100,000 members who never return a result, then that makes my individual rank better ![]() |
