Hello,
on my PC at home I have boinc (Linux) runing without problems. This week I tried at my PC in the University the UD Windows Client. Installation was done without errors but now I cannot connect to the server with my user name. The error is that the client is unable to connect and I should configure the proxy settings. Indeed I know that there is no need for a proxy für https connections. What can I do? Thanks in advance, Markus |

Hi Markus,
----------------------------------------did u mean to say that http requires a proxy at your university, but not https? Think u still have to configure the proxy. Some helpful tips here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewSearch.do?searchString=proxy cheers

If your college network will not run the WCG UD client, why not try the Windows BOINC client? Lawrence |
