---------------------------------------- 9 you might be surprised in a few mins.I decided to embrace my true nerd inside (and outside ) today.Not many kids aged 9 had an Oscilloscope (my Uncle Ken was a TV repair man) Amateur Radio License aged 18. I've wire wrapped a Z80 Minimum system programmed machine code with Hex Pad into 6502 and 8085 (68000 was a dream) I watched processors go from 4Mhz in my 1K Ram ZX81 to 4Ghz and Modem from 300Baud to ADSL 2+ Anyone here know what a ZN414 is? I've built many a set with one of those including one in a sewing kit keyring box with the tinyest bit of veroboard Telecoms was always going to be my thing. It's only just a short stop over to acknowledge nerds the world over Take care Dave (The likeness is uncanny ) |
