Muslim Uma to the "Islam" Team

As-Salam Alaikom,

My dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, let us unite under the team "Islam" to help humankind solve the computational problems posed to the World Community Grid. Our Team "Islam" can be a Dawah should our stats improve.

The Mosque that I attend has 47 countries represented in its congregation. May Allah grant the team "Islam" here such broad support from the Uma, likewise. Al-Hamd Allah.

Our Muslim team called "Islam" imbues a reflection on the "fiqh of the Muslim Minority". That is, is contributing a good deed or more, like a Sunaah or a Wajib or an act of Worship, as it is a means to aquire knowledge?

Inquiring minds want to know.
