Hello
I have question Device Information: Processor: Ory. Pentium 4 1,5 Ghz - 100p My Intel 06f6 1,8Ghz- 100p (This is Core2Duo and is over 2x fastest) Storage: I install WCG on D partition, 60 GB (50 GB free). And I see that 9,77 GB Network: I have 2 network cards onboard. Gigabits and wifi. I see Atheros WiFi - 100p Do there be normal ? I salute |

Hello RobinSPro,
The UD client program was written several years ago and has not been updated. Processor: Ory. Pentium 4 1,5 Ghz - 100p My Intel 06f6 1,8Ghz- 100p (This is Core2Duo and is over 2x fastest) This gives the reference CPU that everything is compared with. A 1.5 Ghz Pentium 4 is assigned a speed of 1 ( 100%). It read the model # of your CPU as 06F6 but did not know what to call it because it is a new CPU, designed after the program was written. It will run a benchmark program at the end of the first work unit to determine the speed of your CPU. Until it runs the benchmark, it just assumes a default value of 100%. After it runs the benchmark, your Processor Score will be much higher. Storage: I install WCG on D partition, 60 GB (50 GB free). And I see that 9,77 GB The Storage shows how much disk space you have authorized the UD client to use in your profile. It does not know anything about your disk drive. Apparently your profile authorizes 10 GB. Some of the program computes a GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes while other parts of the program use 1 GB = 2**30 bytes, which is why authorizing 10 GB shows up as 9.77 GB. ![]() Network: I have 2 network cards onboard. Gigabits and wifi. I see Atheros WiFi - 100p ![]() Do there be normal ? Yes, this is normal. The only thing that is really of interest is the Processor Score after the benchmark runs when it sends the first result back to the server. The Overall score has a maximum allowed value of 200%. Your Core 2 Processor Score should be much higher than 200%. Greetings and Salutations! Lawrence |

With a Core2Duo, you would be a much more effective cruncher if you ran BOINC instead of the UD agent. BOINC can use both cores on your machine. UD can't and will only use one.
