Re: sparc64-sun-solaris support?

If looking at overall projects, WCG is getting 2.4 million out of 48 million daily credits or 5% of the top 7 BOINC projects. Even if WCG could double that participation, the probabilities of having the 'rarer' OSses crossing over to 'Us' makes the relative effort per OS ported rather significant. Into that equation also needs to be considered the burden it puts on the development resource. Would e.g. HDC, a temporal project be running on such systems when on top the supply is short AND heavy on i.e. RAM? Would HCMD be ported or GC for the relative short duration they will take? What I'd like and what's realistic is quite different and would I be in charge of WCG, a philanthropical endeavour with limited budget, i'd have to turn each punt multiple times before putting it on one or the other horse.

Just my 2 cents
