WCG thinks old device is new device

Hi,

I have just reinstalled WCG on my old laptop, which was the first machine I used for WCG 2 years ago. My device profile has this as a new device. Is there any way I can merge the devices into one and the old statistics for this device with its new ones?

To recap, I started with device A. Replaced it with B, then added C. Yesterday reinstalled WCG on A, but it lists as D. Can I set A and D to become A or D?

I realise it's possibly more hassle than it's worth, but, if someone has done it before it would be a help.

The short answer: no.

The long answer: don't bother trying. However, this feature has been requested. You may be able to merge them in a few months.
