Weird. 1 copy on 7 Dec 2006, then 7 copies sent just now.

It appears that this Work Unit was the first one run by darkskye on FreeBSD. Since there aren't 2 other FreeBSD accounts to reach quorum, it was reissued to Windows machines. That could account for the 11 day delay, but it doesn't account for reissuing another 7 copies instead of just 3 additional copies.

We very rarely need to clean some things up on the backend. In this case the workunit was the last workunit that was part of a batch that we had loaded in late november that had not yet finished. This was holding up sending the whole batch back to the scientists so we needed to get it finished off. As a result we 'overschedule' the workunit so that it would finish off quickly and we could get the entire set of results back to the scientist.
I want to emphasize that we very seldom do this - around 1 workunit out of 150,000. |

Where does one find out info on specific work units? I haven't seen anything like that on any of the stats pages i've looked at.

Except for the detail in the Result Status pages for individual WU's a member has crunched, there is no place to look up distributions. Once the WU passes the assimilation phase, they get removed anyhow.
----------------------------------------WU's stay in the RS list up to 4 days after quorum has been reached.
