Hi. On the "My Grid" page, under statistics last updated, this is what it says:
12/15/2006 11:06:03 (UTC) [34 hour(s) ago]. I don't think this is correct since my point total has gone up (and my ranking has gone down) since I was last on here. |

Hhmmm, I cleared my cache and it still said 34 hours since the last update. I even went in using Safari (never been on WCG with Safari on this computer) and it showed 34 hours then also. Who knows, maybe there is a gremlin somewhere that will get taken care of at the next scheduled update time.

Well "My Grid" page says last updated 35 hours ago as of this post, so it's gremlins everywhere
----------------------------------------detailed Statistics The header is not updating, but the stats do seem to increment every 6 hours.

Interesting Sek. I was seeing the header referring to the 18:00 UTC update today. Clearing the cache changed nothing. I had to shut down my browser completely and restart it to see this. I wonder if it's a case of getting directed to a different server in a set or something that broke after 18:00 UTC today?

The website is mirrored, so it's possible. We had these upgrades on Friday and something may have run foul.

Hello Sek,
----------------------------------------I would like to know how the "averages" in the member statistics are calculated. Are they calculated based from the stats starting on the day a member registered for WCG? Would it be more relevant if these "averages" are calculated on a weekly basis? I have been inactive for a long time and my "averages" don't quite reflect my crunching habits these past few weeks. A moving average would be more informative, right? ![]() |

Well the gremlins must have found something else to have fun with because everything looks normal now. Who knows what that was about.

I've not run into your problem, and I check quite regularly, but I'm seeing something a little different, possibly since the Friday website update.
My home PC is now the only one of my group running UD, all the others are now running BOINC. My home PC hasn't updated its "Total Points" for some time now. The difference between what it says and the grid site shows is almost 120000. I know it's completed a number of work units over the past few days, and checked in each time but the points aren't updating. |

With BOINC, you don't get points until the WU's validate. See http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=linpointscalc for more info (this applies to Windows too).
