Sorry for my poor English.
The projects tab of my BOINC client running on an XP machine shows only one line with WCG and a Communication Deferred message. The tasks tab shows a running task. The messages tab shows a series of downloads and the above task using hdc 514. What is the meaning of that Deferred message ? Should I worry about it and do something ? Thank you, Bob |

Please copy part of the message tab information which signals these deferences, so we can read and follow what's happening. Deferred often means that contact could not be made or an automatic delay kicking in, sometimes increasing and a re-attempt is done in X time... usually u see a time counting down in the projects tab.
