I continue to get this msg: Error The application is unavailable at this time, please try again later. Your action has resulted in an error. Any suggestions? ethelred1, which application? And which client are you using? Boinc or the WCG version of the UD client? Tell you what, Ask a question depending on which client that you are using, and then pose this question in either the UD Windows Agent Support forum or the BOINC Agent Support forum. Answers here at the WCG are "wicked fast"! I am using the WCG version of the UD client. I have only been able to successfully download and install it on one computer. Both the desktop at home and the one at work return the same error msg.

The answer will be quick by the CA and/or WCG techs here! ![]() |

Ethelred, did you uninstall the Grid's UD agent first? I can't recall if it made a difference when I made the switch a while ago, but I thought there was something different if I didn't uninstall first.
And FYI, for ANYONE that has a machine with more than 1 core: Get the BOINC agent! It will run multiple workunits if you have multiple cores. |

I am not running McAffee AV on either machine and in both cases I uninstalled the Grid.org UD agent.

Did you try to give each PC a different profile name? I don't get that far. I get the above reverenced msg when I try to down-load the agent to my computer. As a further explanation, I received an email welcome msg from WCG after my first computer was processing a work unit. In this msg there is a link provided if you want to add other computers. Once I go to the linked site and log-in, I get the error msg.

Well JC you are asking the right questions. After rereading my last post, it dawned on me that the problem might be here:
----------------------------------------In this msg there is a link provided if you want to add other computers. Once I go to the linked site and log-in, I get the error msg. So I ignored the link in the email, went directly to the down-load site at WCG, and now have my work computer going. So now I am up to 2 out of 5. ![]()
