Sorry, don't know how you feel about humanitarianism, nor how old you are, but those of us who are believers hope to rid the world of Aids, Cancer, Alzheimer's and other diseases. Running 3 high-end computers 24/7 using the grid and feel really good.
Join a team and you can even enjoy a little competitive fun. If you want the ultimate inspiration, check out a fellow cruncher's site, www.velek.com. Bill has dedicated hundreds of hours trying to spread the word to thousands of people, far in excess of the 4,000 people I have urged to donate idle CPU time without degradation on performance. |
