Trying to run work on my lil notebook but.
I want some of the new project work but cannot get any despite setting profile for that project only. I understand it sends other work if favoured choice unavailable but....... Every time I start Faah work I get a runtime error, task no worky and graphic is screwed up. Einstein@home works fine though. Ho hum??? Off to work now so will try again tomorrow |

Is De-Boinc-ed mean back to UD agent or just Boinced... guess not given the Einstein comment. Have u got latest official BOiNC? U need it as the GC transmitted files are compressed which is only support on 5.4.9 (Linux/Mac) or 5.4.11 (Woz)

Hi Sek...........I think it's fixed.
A reboot seems to have done the trick.....at least the graphic now displays. Will leave her running overnight and see how she goes.  Lock at your leisure |

I think 'The Boot' is sort of like the most favored solution to many a rogue process. Good for u.

Nope, my mistake............left her running all night and she did..zip.
Runtime error again. Back to folding til I get WCG on a desktop. |

Zip or Zap ;>). There's also the good old hardware checks and re-install....
----------------------------------------Genome Comparison is so small, it's almost incredible, thus if u can fold, u should be able to GeeCee..... u still need BOiNC 5.4.9 or better for the file transmissions which are zipped! happy thanksgiving

Sek, these are faah units.........the new units don't get downloaded to me.
It doesn't matter.......just wanted to keep my lil notebook utilised. Will run it from my x2 instead........off to bed England no have thanksgiving.....but regards right back at ya |
