Have the same problem.
----------------------------------------I let my pc running all the night thinking that the wu would be finish when i wake up but it was still running with 178% completed !!!  I stopped it and restarted it again but it continued.  So i stopped it again and restarted Boinc awaiting to know what to do.  |

There wasn't beta test on this project?
----------------------------------------Another member of L'Alliance Francophone has the same problem. He crunch 5h 53, 270% and the units has no end.  I suppose the units should be cancelled ? Il n'y a pas eu de beta test pour ce projet ? Un autre membre de L'Alliance Francophone a eu le même problème. ça fait 5h53 qu'il calcule son unité qui atteinds les 270% et n'a pas pas de fin. That is why i keep away from new projects for 1 or 2 months. I have some remote machines and i cant be physicaly there to restart or kill tasks. So i let the projects to be more stable.
----------------------------------------I think that we have to much projects now. If we have less (2 or 3) we could provide more power to them. Soon we wil be crunching 15k WU in each project. We need to concentrate to finish them ASAP.  |

I think that we have to much projects now. If we have less (2 or 3) we could provide more power to them. Soon we wil be crunching 15k WU in each project. We need to concentrate to finish them ASAP. I don't agree with you because the first french project Decrypthon in 2001 was completed in about 2 months instead of one year as it was expected. The reason, more then 72 000 french internauts works on it. And in 2001, every body didn't have a PC at home. Imagine the number of french new crunchers this project can bring to WCG. I hope that Decrypthon will advise this project as it did in 2001 and many french internauts will arrive. And when Decrypthon will be finish, many of them will continue on other projects. And WCG will grow and grow when new projects from other and other country will start. |

Hello,
This is very interesting, as we did not encounter this in testing. If you do encounter this, please get the two names of the pdb files. They are the two names in the graphics lower left circle. This will allow me to check the work unit. Also, what type of processor was your machine on when running this work unit? -Uplinger |

Will get back to you, in linux at the moment.
The cpu is an x2 3800 running at 2.5.........is rock solid...not a stability issue. Closed the client again when it reached 135% and boinc seems to be down so currently folding. |

Do you know what the Windows machine name is? or the Device ID that the UD agent was? You have too many machines to sift through and try to figure out which one received the HCMD work unit. -Uplinger |
