I spent three months on the IOM during National Service and, later, a few day trips on business. A pretty nice place to be if you don't want the high life.

Yesterday going home from Copenhagen, salt trucks were everywhere
preemptively making the roads safer for the Monday morning commute
- cutting edge road mainenance never seen before
- and they must have plenty of money left on the budget due to a very cooperative winter so far

Good morning everyone, a trifle damp I am told, not that I have ventured out to find out! Northern Lights seen in Northern England would presumably indicate that we are moving ever closer to the North Pole?
