suspending network activity..?

I recently bought a small netpc for travelling and implanted Boinc on it.

After some problems of setting it works, slowly, but it works. 2 units run in the same time.

It's very slow, despite it has a 1,6 ghz processor, 1gb RAM and 160 gb on a hard disk. Could I accelerate a bit the work in adjusting the options ?

Just another question : As soon as I use mouse or keyboard, a message appears :

"suspending network activity - user is active"

Does it means that Boinc doesn't work during that time ? or what ?

What should I eventually do to cancel that option ?

Thanks for help...

Michel

Sorry, am I going demented, since I seem to remember you asked same questions on mouse/keyboard pausing and the explanations given to make a change on the website device profile.

Re: suspending network activity..?

Network suspending and computation suspending occurs at the same time when the option is set to not allow the client to work when the user gives mouse and keyboard input. Refer to JmBoullier's reply, set website device profile or local préférences / preferences under the utilisation du processeur for the "while the computer is in use" to on.
