As far as I can see this option is not evaluated further in the "Phoca Download Plugin" (2.0.1).
It is easy to change the SQL-query in the "/plugins/content/phocadownload/plocadownload.php" to get this option from the database, but I'm not sure how to check against the "access rights" at this point.
@Jan: Are there any updates concerning this issue planned to be released in the near furute?

Hi, which option you mean? There is discussed component not plugin?

The option I was talking about is located in "Control Panel" of the "Phoca Download" component (if a new file is created or an existing one is edited).
See
print-screen below:
Maybe I'm wrong, but as I see in source code, this option is not used further.
But if I do correctly understand the name of this option, a link to the "inaccessible" file should be hidden from not authorized users. Or does "inaccessible" mean that the file was deleted or so?
My problem is, that I would like to have the following behaviour:
I create 4 links in my content, 3 of them are public and the last one should be only seen for authentificated users. As it is implemented now all 4 links are shown but the user cannot download the fourth file without authentification.
Is it somehow possible to completely hide the last link from the content to not autherized users?

Hi, this is the component feature, not a plugin feature, for this the plugin must be customized.
