Hi there,
I'm new on the forum, i just finished installing the guestbook v1.3.0 and when i went to test it i get this error Parse error: parse error, unexpected ']' in \components\com_phocaguestbook\controllers\phocaguestbook.php on line 277

Can you help please?

if ($post['email'] && trim($post['email']) !='' )
{
$email = 1;
}


no idea what can be wrong for you? Which version of PHP do you use? Did you download the component from this site?

Hi jan,
yes i download itr from site, i use php version > 4, i look int the code and i found it very strange, no ident, and somethings wrong too.
So i decided install it again, now the file is great and book is working, i think my server was tired when i try to install the book on first time .
Now everything is working, it was a bug from server.
If you want i can send you a copy from file after frist install, file is very strange.

Hi, maybe there was an error while installing (copying files into a Joomla folder). Sometimes the file will be corrupted while copying (ftp transfering) ... it is not so easy with computers ...
