Hi Jan,

when I design a map for use on a desktop PC, I typically use a landscape format with
I choose a zoom factor to get everything necessary into the map.



When this map is displayed on a smartphone, it will not completely fit into the screen; you won't see important things on the right and left sides.



Of course the user can zoom the image, but there might be a better solution: Why not ask for two zoom factors during the map definition, one for desktop, another one for mobile?

The issue is: If your screen width is too low, you lose important information, which is too far away from the centre.

Hi, if the problem should be the position of the popup, unfortunately, Phoca Maps has no option to somehow influence it, this is a part of the map and it is displayed in iframe map, where Phoca Maps has no option to somehow define it

Hi Jan,
My idea was to have two distinct zoom factors in the map definition: One for large screens, one for mobile. This would enable the user to set "good" zoom factors for both types of devices.
"Good" in this context means that the relevant parts of the maps will be completely visible on both types of devices. In my example the zoom factor was set to 16, showing the above picture.
For smartphones, a good zoom factor would be 15 (as shown in the picture below) or 14.
