Hi,

if you have Phocadownload Plugin 4.0.6 (latest) enable and
you want to use Joomla! 5 without Backward Compatibility Plugin :

Joomla! 5 site & Admin will crash with a "Class "JPlugin" not found" error message

Infos PD plugin : Requirements:
Joomla!1.5, 2.5, 3.9 (stable or any later version)

Could you fix as I may be a (no) directory call change to fix this J5 SITE CRASH issue.

To fix it,
Disable Phocadownload Plugin from : "Extensions: Manage" menu

Hi, I don't know which fix do you exactly mean but I will release the Phoca Downlaod plugin for Joomla 5 soon. Then the plugin can be used in Joomla 5.

I have to disable Phocadownload plugin if I want my J5.24 site to stay alive (to fix Front end and Back end site crash) when setting Compat plugin to OFF!
Anyway, I've uninstalled plugin to avoid issues.

Hi, yes, the version 4 is not intended for Joomla 5, it was created before Joomla 5 and as there was a lot of backward compatibility changes in Joomla 5, it will not work there. The new version needs to be created.
