i've try to move categories up and down the list by dragging the ordering icon (3 verticle dot) but it says 'Please sort by order to enable reordering'.
i went to control panel> options and change all to ordering but still i cant drag the ordering.

i using phoca gallery 4.3.1 with Joomla ver. 3.8.8

Hi, in options you can set ordering for frontend. In backend, if you want to order items, you need to click on "arrows" of order to change the ordering:
