Adding subcategory description in category listing

I would like to add descriptions to subcategories in the Category View. Is there anyway way of doing so?

Hi,
sorry for misunderstanding. No, that's impossible. Only one description above the list of subcategories can be displayed.

There was a similar request that I made that was solved by querying the DB... Is that a possible way we could approach this issue? See link below
