remove slideshow border

It took me a while to get this thing to work as desired but i'm almost there. The module position i've created for the slideshow matches the exact size of the image 920x350px. Yet for some reason there's a big white border on the top of the module and 3 smaller ones on the side & bottom. There's also a tiny dash square just above the top right corner.
How do i remove those borders?
What is that dashed square?
How can i remove it?
Can i assign a joomla page to each specific issue?
How do i change the behavior of the slideshow (i want fade in, not sliding side to side)

Hi,
which slideshow do you mean? If possible, it would be easier, to provide us with an URL to see it.
Kind regards, Christine

It's not possible to answer only one of these questions without seen it.
What's the URL?
Joomla & Phoca Gallery version?
Which module?
Which slideshow do you mean? Slideshow plugin or slideshow module?
Kind regards,
Benno

The site is still in design phase. Seems like i forgot to say it concerns the bxslider module. I was hoping to get the skitter version but i can't and a contact i sent in ages ago about access to "closed" extensions such as the skitter module in return for translations, never did receive a reply

I can provide temp access but can't post login creds in a public topic. I've created a module position that's 920*350px in size . There's a huge gap between the horizontal menu. the previous image is show a px or 5 on the left of the new image.
