Download abnormal

I have made available for downlaod ten pdf files , but I noticed in a few days about 11,000 downloads a pdf file and no others .
It could be spam ?

Hi, yes, probably yes. Which version of Phoca Download you are running. In latest Phoca Download, version 3.x you can enable logging, so you can see some more info about download.

I have the verisone 3.0.6 with Joomla ! 3.4.5
Which do I turn on logging ?

Hi,
backend --> Components --> Phoca Download --> Control Panel --> Options --> General -->
Enable Logging=(choose parameter)
Save & Close

ok now it enabled on (Yes ( Downloads only) but now I have to wait for downloads and see where they came from ?

As Benno already wrote, additional info:
Enable or disable logging for downloads, uploads or both. Be aware, logging of downloads and uploads can take a lot of memory in case a lot of downloads or uploads is done on your site. It is recommended to enable it only for short testing period
May be this helps also: Options > Downloads:
Set maximum count of files user can download. Be aware, 0 (Zero) means, there is no limit. It is limit per file NOT for all downloads. If you set some limit here, anonymous users (guests) are not able to download any file.
