putting a gallery into an article

hi
I am wanting to combine three elements, an article, a download button and a gallery, all in one article. I would like to use phoca gallery and download for this but I don't know how to do this. I have thought about using the "nonumbers" components anywhere module but as phoca gallery/downloads don't use IDs for specifying each download or gallery I'm a little stuck to know what to do.
the "nonumbers" components anywhere module needs a direct link to an ID or category but I don't know where to find this in the Phoca file structure.
Please can I get some help with this!
Many thanks

Hi
thanks for the links above and I have now installed the Plug-ins for both the gallery and downloads. However I am still having trouble Getting anything to show up in an article. I have spent about an hour so far trying different permutations to get the gallery to show in an article but nothing is happening.I have just looked up with firebug whether the Plug-in is actually working and it gives meAn HTML class of phocaGallery in that . div but there are no folders or images showing
I have made note not to copy the {}.
My client is running a sailing regatta next June for disabled sailors so he wants to have a PDF download as well as a gallery of photos of different accommodation accommodations available in the area.I didn't want 72 images or on one page so I am putting each accommodation into its own Category Which is a subcategory of the master accommodation category.
Is the correct code:
{phocagallery view=Accommodation} Or {phocagallery view=category=Accommodation} Or {phocagallery view=category|Accommodation}Or something completely different?
I have tried these three examples plus a few more using the category ID and none of them are showing Any images or categories
I am using Joomla! 3.4.5 if that's any help
Please can anyone offer any advice
Many thanks

okay I have got the phoca downloads to work but I still cannot get the gallery to show in any articles. Please stop telling me to look at the instructions as this is all I've been doing for the last three days. My client is shouting at me to get this sorted but I cannot get anything resolved because I can't get any straight answers from this forum. If this is the only method of communication with the developers then you should at least be able to give us a straight answer when we have a problem instead of referring us to the manual. It might be obvious to some if they read the manual but some of us don't understand things as easily.
All I want to do is show a master category with subcategories in. I have been trying all the permutations of categoryID and view=categorybut nothing seems to be working. Having looked on the Joomla.org forum it seems like several other people have had problems with this component and the complexity of it. There are just so many different variables you can use it is code overloadwhich doesn't help when faced with a problem because you don't know which variable to use.
Please please please can I get a straight answer of which code I need to use in order to show a category.
I am sure this is a brilliant component and plug-in but only if you can get it to work properly.
Many thanks

Hi, first of all:
your client is paying you not me or any other moderator in this forum. In my freetime, I just created some working and popular extensions and told to me, I can publish it for other people too. I do it without any charge and as extra bonus, I spend my freetime like moderators here to give support - of course for free.
If you really need urgent help you need to pay some expert and of course you can use any other component.
So, back to the support:
"then you should at least be able to give us a straight answer when we have a problem instead of referring us to the manual"
This is what I did, I have written it to the manual and I cannot explain better than in manual.
In the manual, there is exactly written what is a component and what plugin and how they work (anyway this is the basic knowledge of Joomla! and it is described in Joomla! guides)
So I will try to resume my previous answer. In your example, I see, you have incorrect code, this is why I pasted the links for correct code, so you can see the examples and correct the code.
Really not sure if I did not unserstand you querstion wrongly, but I just tried to help the best way.
