Hi, maybe it's a dumb question, but...
There's a way to add some text on top of a page generated by a Phoca Download menu item?

i.e. "welcome to our download section, lorem ipsum etc..."

I've tried adding text to Categories View Layout but obtained no success...

Hi, in category view - you can set is a description of the category. In categories view you can set such text in Options.
