Hello,

I get this error on the frontpage: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ':2007' at line 1 SQL=SELECT cat.description FROM j25_categories cat WHERE cat.id=4:2007

- So I have checked the database - every thing is ok - no missing table or column.
- the fields 'description' in table 'j25_categories' is empty

Anyone an idea?

ich versuchs nochmal auf Deutsch - mit Englisch quäle ich mich doch ziemlich ab

Der Fehler kommt in der Kategorie-Ansicht im Frontend. Bei der Kategorien-Ansicht tritt er nicht auf.

Bei Update von Joomla 2.5 auf 3 kam ein anderer Fehler - es hatten zwei Tabelleneinträge gefehlt, dies habe ich nachgetragen (ich fand im Forum eine entsprechende Lösung). Dann kamen andere Fehler. Darauf hin habe ich Phocagallery komplett deinstalliert . Es gab keine Datenbanktabellen von Phocagallery mehr.

Das Feld description in der Datenbak categories ist leer. Sobald ich eine Description im Backend eintrage, kommt eine Fehlerseite mit Error 1024.
Ich kenn mich mit diesen Dingen nur ein wenig aus, aber hier muß ich wohl im Programmcode irgendwas ändern - das übersteigt meine Fähigkeiten doch etwas - deshalb nochmal die Frage: Hab ich irgendwas falsch eingestellt oder vergessen.

Ich hätte gerne die Fehlermeldung im Frontend weg und würde auch gerne das Feld description nutzen. Ich arbeite schon seit Joomla 1.5 mit Phocagallery und unser Verein hat mitlerweile über 5.000 Bilder online...

Das Forum habe ich schon durchsucht. bei Onkel Google finde ich entsprechende Hinweise, da lang aber mein Wissen nicht aus - ich mach die Homepage nur hobbymäßig für den Verein...

Hi, something on your site (e.g. system plugin, or template or module) asks for Joomla! categories table. Phoca Gallery does not ask Joomla! categories table so you need to find the extension which does it, see e.g. here:
