Slideshow CSS

Hello,
I am in the process of setting up a new site and would like to use the slideshow feature of the gallery. I have two issues:
1. The description is black and I am not sure how to change it to white. Which CSS file do I need to update?
2. I would like to hide the text/button that says "Hide Description". How do I go about doing that?
