I've tried so hard to change the size of images because the thumbnails are not aligned with the frame of the image by default as seen in the demo, but it looks the same. I recreated the thumbnails after changing the size of images but nothing happens! What can I do to change that?

Try to check this behavior with a joomla! standard template. I think there is a problem with your template, because in detail view the detail image is overlayed by the topmenu.
