com_phocagallery_v4.0.2 will not load in my J3.1.5 on localhost. Even unzipping and placing in the /tmp directory produces an

"Error

Please enter a package directory"

I have the same problem, help

Hi, which error you exactly get? Did you test your Joomla! installation? As components are installed by Joomla! extension manager, not by Phoca self.

when I install it tells me:

error

Error loading this file on the server.

I had a similar problem with Akeeba on wamp localhost but solved it by unzippng to a folder in the /tmp directory. But with Phocagallery ... like I said in my first post I get the error
"Error

Please enter a package directory"

It appears not to be recognising the xml file

Hi, just see the ZIP, unzip it and see the XML, testing it, it is standard joomla install XML file

Just tried it on a live server ... it took a while but it installed SUCCESS

The problem is with with localhost

Change
upload_max_filesize = 2M
to
upload_max_filesize = 10M

Installs with errors ... in Joomla Global config set 'Error reporting to minimum and php errors are not seen.
