Hi together,

I have a problem while installing the phoca gallery.

First attempt was to use the zip-package "com_phocagallery_v4.0.1".
Here I'm getting the error message:
"There was an error uploading this file to the server."

Next attempt was to extract the package to a separate folder and use it as install directory.
Error message: "404 Component not found"

Is there anyone who knows about that problems?

System information:
Database Version 5.5.32
Database Collation utf8_general_ci
PHP Version 5.4.16
Web Server Apache/2.4.4 (Win32) OpenSSL/0.9.8y PHP/5.4.16

Hi,
update your joomla! to v3.1.5 and then try to install Phoca Gallery v4.0.1

Kind regards,

I've updated joomla to v3.1.5 and tried out "update package file" and "install from directory".
Unfortunately I'm getting the same error message.

Hi, try to ask your webhosting provider and check your Joomla! istallation. Try to ask if there are no limits for installing Joomla! extensions

Same issue here, no installation package found. We do not have problems installing any other component or running direct Joomla updates etc.
Can anyone help?

the problem is that your php config has an upload limit.

Set upload limit to 8mb.

works, no problem.

issue resolved
