Hi!

I am somewhat confused about the access rights to categories in Phoca Download. I have created a group in Joomla, called "Styrelse". Then I create a category in Phoca that this group, and only this group, should have download and upload access to. So: in the configuration for the category I choose "Access: Styrelse". But then, how do I set the next three settings, "Access rights", "Upload rights" and "Delete rights"? The user category "Styrelse" does not appear here. Should I set it to "All registred users" or how am I to understand this setting?

Hi, access right can be set for whole group or for selected users.
Upload and delete rights can be set only for selected user.

Somehow access, upload and delete rights settings are not saved with my categories. It does not matter what I select: "nobody", "all registered users" or any user. The selected "boxes" appear but when I click "save" they disappear again.

I have the latest versions of Joomla and Phoca Download. What am I missing or is this a known bug?

Hi, are you running Phoca Download 3.0.3 where it was changed?

Heh, I just installed Phoca Download couple of days ago and the version was 3.0.2, but now with 3.0.3 my problem is solved, thanks!

I wonder if that magnusl said will be developed. I would can set upload rights for several groups for each category.

Hi, for now upload rights can be set for users only (see explanation in other posts)
