Hi, would it be possible to give admins the ability to set max width and height size for user uploaded images?
And then if users try to upload images larger than "max" size they get a message telling them the max height and width allowed?

The reason I ask for this feature is that I have a lot of users who are not very familiar with IT, and they constantly upload pictures that are larger (not in file size, but in image dimension size) than my GD library will allow, so I keep getting errors.

I think you misunderstand my request / question.

I know you can limit size in bytes, but I see nowhere you can limit the height and width of user-uploaded pictures during the upload procedure.
