Display no image in detail view

on clicking the thumbnail, it shows no image in detail view both in the category view and in the "image module".

I have also tried this in another installation of Joomla!, with another template. In that, in the image module, it shows the box behind the content page. I have also tried the soln as suggested in following thread, but no use, it still shows the same "zindex"
While if I click an image in detail view it just give flash kind of thing. Here are the links
