Sorry if this is obvious, but is there a way to restrict download access to registered users, BUT still have the document listing show up for guests? I want them to see that the file is there, but not be able to download it unless they are registered. I'm sure that is a setting somewhere, but I just can't find it...

Hi, this is possible, you will limit the file - add access rights for registered only but you will set that the file will be displayed for all, after clicking on it, the login form will be displayed in case the user is not logged in - you can display the inaccessible file in File edit.
