How to upload big file for user to download

I want to provide a free trial download for my software on web. I have zip the file but is way above the Phoca upload file size limit of 3MB. The zip file is 150MB.
My queries:
1. Is there any work around solution by Phoca?
2. Can Phoca provide a file link if I upload using FTP client?
3. To reduce the bandwidth usage for download on my host, any free document hosting that can link to Phoca?
Thanks

Hi,
1. File upload limit (via http) is usually limited by your web host. They need to adjust a php setting to allow for larger files.
2. However, I find it easier & more reliable to upload large files using ftp (filezilla is good).

You can use external links in Phoca Download - to external servers.

Why I did was- firstly I uploaded with a small zip file and tested download successful. After that I overwrite the said uploaded small zip file with the actual BIG zip file. With the same filename of course, by using FileZilla.
Phoca give me this error when I try to download:
Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found
But then when I revert back to the small zip file, it works again. So it has nothing to do the zip file type and I have set unlimited for upload file size in Pocha.
Any advise is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi, Phoca Download only gives information between user (user's browser) and your server, if the file is correcly (name, path), then Phoca Download says to server - give this file for download for this browser and then all depends on your server settings and browser settings of user.

Hi Jan,
You are absolutely correct. Sorry that I know nothing about PHP and anyhow I managed to get it rectified by my hosting company. It was just like what you said, is the matter of PHP settings.
Thank you very much Jan. The problem solved.
