Hello,

I've tried uploading on the frontend, but the form just resets. Everything appears fine, the category and section selection displays and all the input boxes are there. However, after you choose the file you wish to be uploaded, select the section and category, and then fill out the form, the form will just reset and the file doesn't appear on the frontend or backend.

Frontend upload is enabled with max 1.6GB file upload. And my php mem is 64. I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Hello all just an update before I get some responses on what exactly all I checked,

I did some more research here is what I have done today and still can't upload files larger than 2MB on the front or backend.

Step 1 Completed:
I changed php.ini to:
php_value file_uploads=On
php_value upload_max_filesize=200M
php_value post_max_size=200M
php_value max_execution_time=120
php_value max_input_time=120
php_value memory_limit=120M
php_flag register_globals=off

Step 2 Completed:
I enabled ftp in global configuration of joomla.

Step 3 Completed:
I double checked media settings in global configuration as well as phoca download. All settings surpass the required amount of size for the files I wish to upload.

Step 4 Completed:
I changed configuration permissions to 777.

Step 5 Completed:
Turned optimization plugin off and other plugins, still no luck.

Step 6 Completed:
Double checked the file path to make sure it was going to the 'phocadownload' directory

Step 7 Completed:
Checked my sphpconfig in Cpanel and it is set to PHP5

Step 8 Completed:
Checked php information tab in joomla to make sure memory and file size increased

I know you might say it is a hosting problem, however Bluehost is known to allow changes to php. So I really have no clue what is going on here. I feel like I wasted the whole day

Hmmm, yes, it is really hard to say what can be wrong there? Did you test different files, did you test it with some small file? Is it possible to enable php error reporting? And debug mode?
