Upgrade from 1.1 to 1.3.7 -- what to expect?

My website currently has Phoca Download v.1.0. I want to upgrade it to v.1.3.7.
What should I expect when upgrading? Will it be a seamless upgrade where all the current settings in v.1.0 are automatically set and valid in v.1.3.7 or should I expect to have to start from scratch and spend time adjusting settings?
Thanks!

Hi, just make a backup and try to upgrade, everything should work ok (maybe you will need to authorize all the files after upgrade but I don't know any other issue)

The update went well - thanks!
A new feature in 1.3.7 is the ability to receive an email notification when someone downloads a file. The notification includes: file downloaded; name and username of downloaded.
It does not include the email of the downloader. Of course, we can go in Joomla's Admin, under Site/User Manager and get the email address. But it would be extremely useful to us to have the email of the downloader included in the email notification.
How can that be achieved?
Thanks!

Hi, this needs to be customized, now I am not on my pc, so cannot say where exactly the mail feature is located in Phoca Download, but try to search this forum for the email feature, there should be a piece of code displayed, so there you should to modify it.

I've looked around the forum and could not find. When you are back to your pc, if it's possible, it would be greatly appreciated to get some guidance/instruction on how to achieve. Thanks.
