Seems that removing "offline_access,publish_stream,photo_upload," from scopes at line 109 in administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/phocagallery/facebook/fb.php partially solved the issue.
Need some time to tell if the fix works without collateral damages. I think that to simpy display photos should be ok.
May be could be a solution for others too.

Hi, The given solution from Jan isn't working for me om my site. The replacement of the line doesn't make a change. Anyone any idea how to solve this?

I get the same error as mentioned here before. This one:

Invalid Scopes: user_groups, offline_access, publish_stream, photo_upload. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/fa ... ermissions

And did you make the following changes:

This will be included in next version.

Hi, where do you get this error message? Can you paste a screenshot, testing now, without any such error, nowhere, not in errorLog, not in administration or FB site
