Can't upload images bigger than 2mb

Hi i have problem with phoca gallery. I can't upolad images bigger than 2mb (frontend and backend). In the backend I set max size to 8mb and resolution 4290x4290px. But even now I can upload bigger images than 2mb. Resolution is ok, because if I am uploading images with for example 4000x4000px and 1mb file size, it is ok. So problem is with file weight. When I am trying upload images (2mb+) there is message: "Error: Not a valid image".

Can You help me with this? What is wrong? Where I did mistake?

Hi, try to check limits on your server, maybe there is set some limit which prevents upload large images
