Hello
if I upload photos in control panel (user upload) the navigation among the different pages is displayed horizontally, for example:
Start
Zurück
1
2
Weiter
Ende
If I upload the photos directly in category view the navigation is displayed horizontally:
Start Zurück 1 2 Weiter Ende
Where can I format the navigation so that it shows horizontally?
Navigation displayed vertically in Gallery User Upload

Re: Navigation displayed vertically in Gallery User Upload
Hi,
this is probably a template issue. please check with a standard Joomla! template to make sure.
If confirmed, you will need to edit your css stylesheet(s). Use the "inspect" tools in firefox or chrome to find and test what to change.
regards, rk

Re: Navigation displayed vertically in Gallery User Upload
I've thought the same (that it was a template issue) but I've tried with the standard template and I have the same problem. I've installed everything again (I didn't have much.. the website was quite new) and I still have this problem.
Strange is that with another website the navigation is shown horizontally!

here's the link http://pile-up.digit-art.ch/index.php/media-upload
Access with user GAST and Password 1234
Change the number of images to 5 (I've uploaded only 8 images)
If you view the photos under http://pile-up.digit-art.ch/index.php/fotos, the navigation will be displayed horizontally.

Re: Navigation displayed vertically in Gallery User Upload
I've found out that the codes are different:
<div style="margin: 0px 10px; display: inline;" class="sectiontablefooter"> in User control panel
<div style="margin: 0px 10px; display: inline;" class="sectiontablefooter" id="pg-pagination"> in category view
I need to know which is the name of the document to upload images via user control panel

as far as I know, the file(s) you need to edit are in /components/com_phocagallery/views/[view]/tpl/
to find out which view to change, switch of SEF urls and check the url for the view variable.
but take a look at Joomlas override functionality (Joomla docs), otherwise, future updates may overwrite your changes.

Re: Navigation displayed vertically in Gallery User Upload
no way, I cannot make it that it shows horizontally. I cannot find where exactly is the navigation for category views.
What's totally strange is that in another website it shows correctly.
I'm afraid that if I keep on changing things there will be afterwards other problems.
