Error 404 when activating SEO - only links inside content

Hi,

I'm using your phantastic Phoca-download (version 1.3.3) and Joomla 1.5.15 but encountered a little problem now...

When activating SEO-options (SEF URLs, mod_rewrite and file-suffix) links from within content (e. g. {phocadownload view=file|id=100|text=Ankündigung|target=s}) seem to be resolved in a wrong way. The link above results in

http://www.jazzchor-mg.de/component/pho ... -2010.html

There is no folder "component" so error 404 is the correct reaction of the server. Any ideas? The correct filename is http://www.jazzchor-mg.de/phocadownload ... t-2010.pdf.

I already tried several "remedies" but nothing worked.

Ich habe SEO wegen des Fehlers abgeschaltet und irgendwie schickt Joomla einen bei ungültigem Pfad dann auf die Startseite, also identisch mit http://www.jazzchor-mg.de, trotz des weiteren Pfads dahinter... Wenn ich den Pfad beliebig ändere passiert das übrigens auch noch.

I deactivated SEO to avoid the problem and Joomla seems to redirects me to the frontpage whatever path I add to the URL. Changing it to ...100-xxx.html shows the same result. Anyway... thanks for trying to reproduce it

I also have the same problem and don't know how to correct it.

I use last versions of component, plugin and Jfishplugin. Site is on english and russian (www.insysbio.ru). And this bug arises only when site is swtched to russian language. In this case link to download is .../ru/component/phocadownload/category/2----.html and 404 after this. When english is switched on plugin generate correct links .../en/download/category/2.html. (page with example http://www.insysbio.ru/ru/home/140-update3.html)

If anybody know solution, please, help.

I can`t confirm your issue. I tried several downloads in russian language from http://www.insysbio.ru without error?? eg. http://www.insysbio.ru/ru/download/file ... eskov.html

Only this link receives an error 404

Sorry, but I don't clear define the problem.

The problem exists for every link in content element to category download in russian language. However, 404 exists only in several cases. In other cases it has wrong direction. For example, in the content element (http://www.insysbio.ru/ru/home/1-latest ... date3.html) link related to downlad category, but it goes to download section (with wrong path http://www.insysbio.ru/ru/component/pho ... 2----.html). And in the resulting page there are unworking links to categories (one with 404 error). At english all works fine. I mean that this link goes to raleted category and all links work right. In such case generated link to dowload category is following http://www.insysbio.ru/en/download/category/2.html.

In other words the point of the problem is that the plugin of content linking generate wrong link when site is switched to russian (...ru/component/phocadownload/category/...). In english there are normal link (...en/download/category/... without addition of component/phocadownload). To illustrate this problem i have made test page at our website (http://www.insysbio.ru/ru/home/141-test.html), where you can see problem clearly. Only preview works fine other links don't. Somethimes it is attended with error 404, sometimes it derectis to the wrong page with unworking c ategory link.

It is interesting that if i use menu linked to phoca download component everything works fine. And normal crosslinks are generated at russian lenguage.
