Hi, you can select the type of menu link in menu manager, click on Phoca Download and you will see the different menu types.

Hi!

Even when I do what you say, I still don't see the options needed to assign a menu item to a specific section or category.

When I:

1. Create a new
2. Select the "type" of Phoca Download
3. I am given these options to choose:
a. Phoca Download
1. Phoca Download Sections
a. Phoca Download Section List Layout
2. User Upload
b. User Upload Layout

What are the steps for assigning a menu item to a specific section or category, please? :)

Hi, I have problem with this. menu item type phocadownload secttion layout-After instalation it works fine, but now existing menu item with this type can´t be edited and new can´t be added(blank screen). I tryed reinstall the component, bud it´s still the same. I must edit this menu items direct in database when I needed to change categoryid for filtering.

Hi, I didn't programm the menu item type, it is a part of Joomla! and every view in MVC can have own menu item link. It was disabled in previous version, now it is enabled (as SEF problems were modified). These XML files are information for Joomla! to display the menu item link:

components\com_phocadownload\views\category\metadata.xml

components\com_phocadownload\views\category\tmpl\default.xml

Hi i found soulution, but I forget to write it here. I sayd it it wrong. I haven´t problem with category view but with section view.
So, You have a little mistake in distribution of phocadownload component- in components\com_phocadownload\views\section\tmpl\default.xml are "" characters that windows notepad makes when you save file in UTF-8 encoding. I checked latest version 1.3.4 beta and its stil there. When I remove thist characters (save it in some normal editor), editing section view menu item is ok.
