You have been very productive! Kitchen cabinets are on my to do list too. I would just rather scrap....lolpawprints wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 11:16 amHey Cherries. Pouring rain again here today. I have to make a Costco run to pick up one of their pumpkin pies that I’m bringing on Thanksgiving. I’ve been getting a lot done around here finally. Emptied out some kitchen cabinets and pulled out pots and pans and things that I don’t use anymore and made room for some new things that I bought. I got a new turkey roasting pan that I love so I am all ready for Thursday. As for scrappy mojo just haven’t gotten it back yet. Sigh. Maybe it will hit after Thanksgiving.
Hope you all have a great day.
Hi Cherries! I got a layout done for the #4 Turkey Trot! I was really tired but with the wild sleeping patterns I've been having I figured I'd stay up and finish it. But I think it worked too well because I never slept a wink! It's 10 AM and I've been awake since 9 yesterday morning! UGH! I'll be taking a nap in awhile. It's warmed up from the low 20s to the low 30s which means it's still cold! We got a bit of snow again last night so now it's covering the sheet of ice that's covering our property. I'm pretty much staying inside because I do NOT want to fall!
This is the layout I made. I combined the TT #4 and the Make the Cut challenges. This is what we came home to when we got back from Kentucky. The daisies and Foxgloves were so beautiful! We've never seen this before because the geese normally eat the tender sprouts. The circle and banner parts are REALLY REALLY OLD scraps!
Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Good afternoon! It turned into a gorgeous day, and I should go for a walk but as I mentioned in another thread, I'm still in my jammies and even though they are cute, I'm not going to venture out. I've got a few bills to pay and then I'm going to start on the final TT#5 challenge. My photos are printed so many I can even finish today.

Enjoy that warm weather because us northerners have been freezing!blbabe1234 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 12:48 pmGood morning y'all. Had an...eh...day yesterday. The morning was nice and quiet, but the afternoon.....filled with stupidity.Today, morning almost over and haven't heard a peep from anybody. We shall see how the rest of the day goes.
Nice and cool today. We hit 90 yesterday, a front make it overnight and we were 50. No sun though, so boooooo. High will be 70 before we warm back up tomorrow (64/90).
Only got work going on today. Washed a load of doggie blankets, and vacuumed our bedroom.
Hope everyone has a great day!

LOVE her name!!! My Penny is Penny Lane. When we got her, her name was already Penny. The woman who rescued her - her 3 year old daughter named her that. Said that she "looked like a copper penny" and the name stuck. All of my dogs have middle names and after trying to figure out a middle name for her, my dad responded to Lane. Penny Lane fits. And now, because she's older (and sassy!) she's Miss Penny Lane!disneydarling wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:53 pmGinniG wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:34 pmdisneydarling wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 11:30 amGood morning! It's a really nice day here - 45 but the sun is making it feel much warmer. And of course I am stuck at work...
I didnt do much last night after Jasons bowling match. He bowled a 268!!
I stared at my computer way too long last night before i decided to work on something. I wanted to do a bit of quilling for a fun page. But of course....Miss Penny wanted to help so bad! I was so irritated that she would not leave me alone and kept stealing the strips. Then I was able to kinda cuddle her for a bit while she watched me....then I realized she was behaving because while I was rolling, she was chewing on the ends!!! GRR!!! So I brought it to work and plan on working on some during lunch...lol.
Have a great day!
Wendy, you also have a fur baby named Miss Penny?! That's amazing! It's a small world! I had to LOL at the shenanigans she was pulling. She thought you had a special toy just for her! Congrats to Jason too! That's an AWESOME score!!!
i do! Her full name is Miss Penelope Ann (both of my daughter's middle names are Ann, so we had to keep it going). She needs sooo much attention - she thinks she is soooo neglected. It's funny that I have to share my "toys" with her but she gets upset when I grab hers. she hates it when I clean up and put her stuff away...lol.

It’s alternating sunny and grey/cloudy here today. All that rain has moved away for the most part. Weather guy says maybe an occasional stray shower but pretty much done for the next week.
my crafty day with a friend got cancelled. She texted me about half hour before she was supposed to b here to say she had a full blown anxiety attack and was parked on the side of the road! Fortunately she had come down the back road way instead of the freeway today. Hoping she got home ok. Haven’t heard anymore.
thinking maybe go today and get fresh veggies etc for Thanksgiving dinner and then just not go anywhere again till Saturday. Hoping to go to a Craft Faire at the lavender farm in Wilton Saturday with a couple neighbors.
today is my brother in laws 80th bday. My sister turned 80 this past March and I will b 80 in May. Seems like just not that long ago we were all in high school together and my sister and her DH had just started dating. Now they have been married 62 years next month! LOL
have a totally terrific Tuesday!

Charleneanne, I hope your friend made it home okay! Poor thing! Glad the rain has left you. And I hope you're able to go to the craft fair! Happy to your BIL!!! 80 always seemed so far away but here I am at 70 and it's not that much longer! I was talking with my BFF's granddaughter one day and telling her about my china and how I'd picked it out when I was a senior in high school in 1972. She said "1972????!!!!" It struck me how that was over 50 years ago and how ancient that must have seemed to her! LOLOL! And congrats to your sister and your BIL for being married so long! What a wonderful blessing! Hope you get your errands done quickly so you can rest the remainder of the week!

Woohoo for being on Thanksgiving break! We cast our show, "The Music Man" last night, and it is going to be so much fun! Cast list was posted today, after school...I ran away, as usual. Let them get their emotions out on their own, without a school audience.

Tell me about it Ginni. DD and family gave me something for my birthday along the lines of "I was in my 20s in the 70s, now I'm in my 70s in the 20s". So true, and so hard to believe!! I graduated HS in '72 also. Geez it does seem ancient. lol.GinniG wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 4:27 pmCharleneanne wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 4:13 pmIt’s alternating sunny and grey/cloudy here today.
