Ok Cherries...Tis the Season for giving. I want your challenge ideals to use for my Dec 2024 My Mood Challenge. Post a complete challenge ideal here (it can be any type of challenge) to be entered to win a $20.00 gift card from me. You do not need to do an example.
I will use random.org to pick the winner on Dec 1st.
The winners challenge will be used for the Dec 2024 My Mood Challenge and will also receive a bonus entry.
I will post the winning name and challenge on Dec 3. That will give me time to do an example.

I'll bite. How about a layout with a big wreath? Not just a diecut/ephemera wreath added as an embellishment, but the wreath fills the whole page.
My Mood idea is a using a large number or letter on the layout. At least 5 inches.
Have a great Thanksgiving!

How about a hidden journaling card or journaling pocket. Something that is hidden to the eye but can easily be pulled out or folded out to read the hidden journaling.
Just call me Nan - it's short and sweet
How about choosing 5 letters from the word Christmas and using items on the layout that start with those letters. There can also be a twist that goes along with the LO- must include a santa.

My idea is to arrange multiple shapes (circles, squares, triangles, etc) on your layout in the shape of a Christmas tree being 7 inches or more. Must be built not preprinted or one large piece....Bonus entry if the layout is Holiday related!

Christmas trees are popping up in windows throughout my neighborhood. The majority of those trees have the "white" lights. The mood board could feature shades of green, white and gold with sparkles - something rather elegant.
My challenge idea is use the title, "Fa la la la la!". Share a collage LO using this sketch of those December magic moments good, bad or otherwise.
I'm going with the idea of one of those "what's your Elf name?" that you find on facebook.
Use your first letter of your first name to use the the coordinating embellishment.
A = brads
B = enamel dots
C = buttons
D = washi tape
etc...
Use your birth month to use the coordinating word in your title (doesn't have to be the only word in your title)
JAN = Believe
FEB = Christmas
MAR = Family
APRIL = Jolly
etc...
Here is a list of more embellishments:
flair pin
gem/crystal
flower
metal
shaker
tags
wood veneer
sequins
bow
twine
paint
ticket
stencil
tab
numbers
ephemera
stars
chipboard
filmstrip
ribbon
eyelet
stickers
Here is a list of more title words:
Merry
Fun
Frosty
Santa Claus
Star
Festive
St. Nick
Fa La La
Cheer
Naughty
Wish

How about a recipe challenge using the "12 Days of Christmas".
Example:
Choose one from this group - each day would be a different # of pics to use on layout.
Day 1 - # of pics (1 pic)
Day 2 - # of pics (2 or 3 pics)
Day 3 - # of pics (4+ pics)
Choose three from this group - each day would be a different type of embellishment to use.
Day 4 - enamel dots
Day 5 - ephemera
Day 6 - flowers
Day 7 - chipboard
Day 8 - misting/spray
Choose one from this group - each day would determine the number of words in the title.
Day 9 - one word
Day 10 - two word
Day 11 - three word
Day 12 will be a free choice to replace any of the above.
Can be a 1 or 2 page layout.
The items that I have listed next to each day are examples and could be changed to something else or put in a different order. This way it would be a surprise to not know what each day represents.

Choose one of these colour schemes:
1. Traditional - Red, Green, Gold
2. Pinkmas - Pink, White, Aqua
3. Grunge - Olive, Mustard, Grey
Add multiples of these elements:
1. Santas
2. Presents

my idea is
Never Have I Ever...
...bought something scrappy because I saw someone else use it (scraplift a cherry and post both)
...bought papers to go with an outfit* (use 1-2 photos)
...bought an outfit to go with paper i already own* (use 3-4 photos; *if you have done both scenarios, use a minimum of 4)
...staged a photo op to go with paper/stickers i already own (if you have supplies/photos that fit this scenario, use them! if not, anything goes)
...bought a sheet of paper that i didn't use in 20 years (break out some old paper for your page)
...bought a tool that is still unused many years later (use an unloved tool)
...bought random embellishments just because they were trendy--i.e. cacti, llamas and tigers, chandeliers, etc. (use at least one random icon on your page--must be truly random! not a cactus sticker on a page about Arizona lol)
for each one you HAVE done, you have to follow the directions. if you've done a lot of them, you're going to have a lot of things to fit on one page

Let's decorate a tree for Christmas (create a layout)
start with a tree - photos in the shape of a tree - (squares or triangles)
add some lights - small embellishments ( sequins, enamel dots)
add some garland - ribbons or trims, punched borders
add some ornaments - brads, buttons
add a star or an angel to the top
add some presents under the tree (small square or rectangular embellishments, or smaller pictures)

My mood suggestion is to pick one of the Dec/Jan holiday season traditions that resonate with you (be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year, or just the spirit if you are non-denominatinal) and journal either 1) how you celebrate or 2) your favorite memory or 3) what it means to you.
I am feeling very reflective this year...

Since this is the MY MOOD challenge, my challenge is to use one item that starts with each letter in MY MOOD. The items that start with M and O need to be different since each of those letters appears twice.

My mood is non-traditional. Use non- traditional colors for a holiday layout. Maybe it’s pink and orange for a Halloween layout or red for a Hanukkah layout. Any holiday goes! For a bonus entry use a non-traditional embellishment for your holiday…maybe some a wreath (traditional Christmas) on a St. Patrick’s Day layout (I’m picturing little beer mugs and rainbows sprinkled on a large green wreath =).
