Great challenge!

Here's my DGD taking a look at the eclipse. It wasn't totality near NYC where she is, but pretty close and I scoured the internet to find a picture of what it would have looked like for her at peak.

This was my son's 8th Star Wars themed birthday party. Used stars. a moon and whatever you call those beams of light.  Combined with Baby/Kid Challenge.

I cut the alien and flying saucer with Cricut. 3 l's in Hello to make it seem more alien-like.
Combined with Music challenge.

I love this challenge and so glad to finally get to play along this month!
I combined this with the Baby/Kid challenge and I used one of the lyrics from "Down Bad" as part of my title!

My second entry...

Sometimes I include photos in my art journals... So I have this photobooth strip of my niece, myself and her (mystery!) friend, during my sister's wedding reception. I wanted to capture the feel of the fun night, where we all danced under the stars shaped lights. ALSO, our dresses were so fun and cute! I used gesso and other mixed media and my stash and stenciled and used my ancient crinkly ribbon! I also combined with the Baby/Kid Challenge.
